Drug Shortages Concerning; B'nai B'rith Highlights Two Proposals
B’nai B’rith is concerned about shortages in the pharmaceutical market, a problem which can be solved if Congress, consumer groups and pharmaceutical companies work together. Having reliable supplies of critical important prescription drugs is essential for millions of older adults.

Positive White House Budget But Funding Level Concerns Remain
B’nai B’rith is pleased that President Obama’s new spending plan includes funding for senior housing and other aging programs, as well as a robust international affairs budget that includes aid to Israel. However, some proposals raise concerns.
