Members of B’nai B’rith Denver came together to support the community on February 17 for the Peanut Butter Plan.  Guests made PBJ’s and passed them out to people in need in the downtown Denver area.

THE DONATIONS: Each Peanut Butter Plan participant donated one jar of Peanut Butter and one jar of Jelly, plus two or more loafs of bread.

THE MISSION: After the PBJ’s were made (at about 2:00), members formed carpools to the Denver Rescue Mission neighborhood to hand out the sandwiches. After giving food to many of the people attendees found on the streets and in the parks, they donated left over food to Samaritan House and other agencies in need.
