Since 1980, the Pinch Hitter Program has been a wonderful opportunity for us to give back to the Atlanta community. As you know, Pinch Hitters is our annual community service project where volunteers from the Atlanta Jewish Community “go to bat” for non-medical hospital personnel on Christmas Day. This is so our Christian brethren can spend the holiday at home with their families. In past years, hundreds of volunteers like you helped make our Pinch Hitter Program better and better. This year, we will be staffing 11 hospital or assisted living facilities on Friday, December 25th, 2015, and we need your help.

You can choose a shift at one of the following facilities. Shifts generally run from 7 to 11 (early morning), 11 to 3 (mid-day), or 3 to 7 (afternoon).  Please note that these times are approximate and may vary by hospital and/or department.  Afternoon shifts will vary as we strive to curtail operations at 5pm for Shabbat.

>> Note: some facilities and/or shifts are getting filled. Sign up early to secure your favorite!
