B’nai B’rith International Opens Disaster Relief Fund to Aid Victims of Oklahoma Tornado
B’nai B’rith International has opened its Flood, Tornado and Hurricane Disaster Relief Fund in the wake of the devastating tornado that ripped through the Oklahoma City suburb of Moore on May 20, killing at least 24, injuring many more and flattening much of the town. The death toll is still expected to rise.

Partnership with Other Jewish Organizations Vital to Ensuring Holocaust Remembrance
B’nai B’rith International observed Holocaust Remembrance Day with its annual program “Unto Every Person There is a Name,” now in its 24th year. Participants read the names of the victims of the Shoah, noting where and when they were born and where and when they were murdered by the Nazis.

B’nai B’rith International is outraged as Iran is set to chair the United Nations-sponsored Conference on Disarmament from May 27 to June 23, despite the country’s ongoing efforts to obtain nuclear weapons. For Iran to head this conference is a total farce and further legitimizes a regime that blatantly defies the will of the international community.
