Albright Focuses on International Challenges in SpeechOn March 31, 2008, former Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright spoke about ongoing international challenges in her keynote address at the B'nai B'rith Commitment to Justice Award dinner in Washington, D.C.
Albright, also a former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, continues to be deeply involved in global policy issues. She focused on the difficult issues facing the United States and world, including the prospect for peace initiatives in the Middle East.
The dinner honored Berl Bernhard, Sheldon Krantz, Frank Burch, Jr., and Lee Miller of the global law firm DLA Piper for its Middle East Investment Initiatives program and its New Perimeter pro bono services.
