B'nai B'rith leaders will attend the exclusive "Facing Tomorrow" conference organized by Israeli President Shimon Peres in honor of Israel's 60^th anniversary.  BBI President Moishe Smith and Executive Vice President Daniel S. Mariaschin will take part in the three-day conference, which begins May 13 in Jerusalem. The organizers of the conference have said: "Participants will be charged with examining, confronting, and responding to three intertwining futures: the global tomorrow, the Jewish tomorrow, and the Israeli tomorrow."

"It's a tremendous honor to be included in such an auspicious gathering," Smith said. "The 'Facing Tomorrow' conference will truly allow us to reflect on Israel's struggles and triumphs, and plan for great things ahead."

World leaders including President George W. Bush will attend, as will former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and former Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev. Also scheduled to be on hand: former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger; former Czech President Vaclav Havel; noted author and Nobel winner Elie Wiesel; Harvard Professor Alan Dershowitz; and New York Times columnist Thomas L. Friedman. The wide-ranging participant list also includes Google founder Sergey Brin; Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg; and Chairman and CEO of News Corporation Rupert Murdoch.
