B’nai B’rith Condemns Attack On Egyptian Coptic Christians

B’nai B’rith condemns the New Year’s Day car bombing outside the Saints Church in Alexandria, Egypt, killing 21 and wounding 79 attendees at midnight services.

The outrageous attack against Christians represents an appalling disregard for human life by the extremists who perpetrated it.

Attacks against any religious group are unacceptable and continue to worsen tensions in the Middle East.

B’nai B’rith stands in solidarity with the victims as efforts proceed to identify those responsible. We join in mourning the horrific loss of life and the injury caused to the worshippers at Saints Church.
