B’nai B’rith International is again outraged that yet another anti-Semitic incident has rocked the Venezuelan Jewish community. On the morning of Thursday, February 27, a bomb was thrown at the Jewish Community Center in Caracas. The doors to the center were damaged, but fortunately, no one was hurt. This is the second attack against a Jewish institution in Venezuela in the last month.
The climate for Jews in Venezuela has become increasing hostile. We call for the citizens of this country – and the world – to take notice and fight against this dangerous trend of anti-Semitism in Venezuela.
