B'nai B'rith Liberty Region
For five decades, B'nai B'rith International has used Project H.O.P.E. (Help Our People Everywhere) to make Passover seders possible for the elderly and disabled, as well as those that do not have the means to buy kosher-for-Passover meals.
The Liberty Region will once again take part in Project H.O.P.E. packing and distributing meals from Temple Sinai, Dresher, Pa.
Here is a note from the Liberty Region Project H.O.P.E. coordinator Samuel Domsky on this year's activities:
Exactly one month from today, Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Temple Sinai, we will be distributing to 625 of our most needy in the Philadelphia region's Jewish community. This year is a milestone year, number 20. Many of you have been apart of Project HOPE since 1997 and HOPE's success is a testament to the dedication of ALL the contributors and volunteers.
As of this moment we are only one-third to our goal of $30,000, we still need 35 drivers to deliver and we need your help NOW. Take a few hours of your Sunday morning April 9 and make a difference in the lives of our elderly and isolated. Take a moment and open your check book as well. Let's stand together to let those less fortunate know we care about them. It is one of the most rewarding MITZVAH days you will ever participate in.
Please email me ASAP to volunteer to drive.
Please make your tax deductible contribution to Project HOPE and send it c/o Samuel Domsky:
