New York - B'nai B'rith Young Professional Network

The Young Professional Network has been focusing on community service. Whether it's volunteering to help pack bags of kosher for Passover food for Project H.O.P.E, spending a few hours helping immigrants fill out necessary paperwork, cooking dinner at a shelter or spending an afternoon doing arts and crafts at a Children’s hospital our events always leave attendees feeling the spirit of tikkun olam. We’ve also hosted Shabbat dinners and mitzvah hours for those who want to socialize and meet new people in the city.

Our marquee event of 2011 was “A Night of Wine Tasting” benefiting the B’nai B’rith Israel Fire Fund and Japan Earthquake Relief effort at the Mission of Bulgaria. Sixty people gathered for a night of French wine, raffles and chef prepared food. The event raised $1000 for our Disaster Relief Effort.
