​In this episode, B’nai B’rith International CEO Daniel S. Mariaschin is joined by Dr. Erica Miller, a clinical psychologist whose life has taken her from Romania, where she and her family were forced into a concentration camp during the Holocaust when she was a child, to Israel, where her family immigrated when Miller was 15 years old. In Israel, Miller eventually joined the Israeli Air Force, where she served from 1954 to 1956. Miller next relocated to Los Angeles, where she earned a PhD in clinical psychology and raised two children. Miller has written three books, including her most recent book Chronologically Gifted: Aging with Gusto, and currently manages a family real estate company in Austin, Texas. During this episode, Mariaschin speaks with Miller about her life’s journey, from surviving the Holocaust to serving in the Israeli Air Force as a woman, to starting an entirely new life in the United States.
