B’nai B’rith International has issued the following statement:

B’nai B’rith International is outraged by the drive-by terror attack in the West Bank that left a mother and father dead and four children orphaned. Last night an Israeli couple, identified as Eitam and Naama Henkin, and their children were shot at from another car while driving near the Palestinian village of Beit Furik. Both the parents were killed while all four children—ages 9, 7, 4 and 4-months—sat in the back seat.

Miraculously none of the children were physically injured, but the terrorists have left them orphaned and scarred.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to these children whose lives have been violently altered by this act of terror.

B’nai B’rith urges Israeli authorities to expeditiously bring the perpetrators to justice.  Those behind these murders should be swiftly punished to the full extent of the law.
