180 Years Strong

A lot has changed in the 180 years since B’nai B’rith was founded, but one thing hasn’t: anti-Semitism.

In fact, I have never seen the scope, breadth, and virulence of anti-Semitism that exists today. It’s the perfect storm of hatred from so many different quarters, which daily produces so many incidents in the real world and virtually.

Fortunately, B’nai B’rith is still here. And, thanks to your ongoing support and commitment, we’re stronger, more influential and more effective than ever—an organization made to meet this perilous moment.

Whether in moments of danger for our people or moments of need for others, whether serving the needs of our elderly or speaking for the needs of our brothers and sisters in Israel, we are the Global Voice of the Jewish Community.

When you support B’nai B’rith, you help us advance our work in the following areas:

  • Taking additional steps to combat anti-Semitism in America, focusing on preventing the mainstreaming or “normalizing” of Jew-hatred and bringing appropriate condemnation no matter who the offender is.
  • Working to bring more U.N. diplomats and influential people to Israel for critical first-hand exposure to Israel’s robust democracy, extraordinary security challenges and global humanitarianism.
  • Protesting Palestinian efforts to bypass the peace process to become a full U.N. member.
  • Monitoring ecumenical bodies such as the World Council of Churches in order to push back at attempts to smear Israel as an apartheid state.
  • Working to ban academic boycotts based on foreign nationality, promoting anti-BDS legislation, and ensuring the safety of Jewish students in schools.
  • Opposing Iran’s efforts to develop a nuclear weapon and its continuing sponsorship of terrorism.
