The B’nai B’rith World Center in Jerusalem and the Ecumenical Theological Research Fraternity in Israel held a symposium on March 13 under their joint “Liaison Committee” banner entitled “The Effort to Divest Evangelical Christians from Israel: A New Campaign”.

The event was purposely held during the anti-Israel and anti-Jewish “Christ at the Checkpoint” (CATC) conference that convened throughout that week in Bethlehem promoting theological anti-Semitism and the demise of the Jewish state of Israel.

Speakers at the symposium were Dexter Van Zile, Christian Media Analyst at CAMERA, Robert Nicholson, Research Associate at the Paul E. Singer Foundation – both of whom came to Israel to audit and critique CATC – and Yitzhak Santis, Chief Programs Officer for NGO Monitor and director of its newest project “BDS in the Pews”.
