LECTURE TWO
“The Sephardic Diaspora – Survival of the Iberian Communities after the Expulsion”
This will explore in depth where and how the Sephardim left after the Decree of Alhambra. Families were torn apart, leaving behind communal roots and possessions. Communities were rebuilt in exile and Sephardic trade routes were created as mercantilism rose.
LECTURE THREE
“The Sephardic Crypto Jews or Bené Anusim’s Return – a Halakhic Overview from the XV Century to the Present”
This will dispel the many myths surrounding Bené Anusim and present a viable way of applying the Sephardic Hakhamim (Rabbis’) approach to a 21st century debate.
