B'nai B'rith International Director of U.N. and Intercommunal Affairs David Michaels addressed "The July 9th Symposium" at the U.S. Capitol.
The event was organized and moderated by Honorary President Richard D. Heideman to mark the 10th anniversary of the International Court of Justice's unjust "advisory opinion" on Israel's security fence, which has saved an untold number of lives from Palestinian terrorism.
B'nai B'rith was a co-sponsor of the event, which was also addressed by Ron Dermer, ambassador of Israel to the United States; Keith Harper, new U.S. ambassador to the U.N. Human Rights Council; Canadian Member of Parliament Irwin Cotler, a former justice minister and attorney general; and Frederick M. Lawrence, president of Brandeis University.
