In 2001, B’nai B’rith International was one of the founding members of IsraAID, a non-profit humanitarian organization committed to providing life-saving disaster relief and long term support to people in need, regardless of gender, race, religion or national borders.
During the current Ebola outbreak in Africa, B’nai B’rith International provided disaster relief money to help fund IsraAID’s efforts on the ground. The following is a letter from Sia Nyama Koroma, first lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone, to IsraAID, thanking the group for its contributions to the cause: |
