What Is Happening Now
Israeli civilians continue to face rocket and missile attacks as communities across the country are once again forced into shelters.
Residential neighborhoods have been struck, civilians have been killed and injured, and communities that had only just begun to rebuild are once again under fire.
Parents are rushing children into shelters. Seniors are reliving repeated trauma. Communities that thought the worst was behind them are now facing it again.
There was only a brief period of calm following the war in Gaza, just long enough for people to begin rebuilding their routines.
That moment has now been taken from them.
No one should have to live this way.
From the Ground in Israel
During a recent visit to Kiryat Shmona, B’nai B’rith World Center–Jerusalem Director Alan Schneider met with residents and security teams as sirens sounded, giving just seconds to take cover.
This is not abstract. This is daily life.
Even in those moments, B’nai B’rith is on the ground, supporting children in shelters, equipping local responders, and helping communities stabilize under constant threat.
