B’nai B’rith International praises the Kansas State Legislature for taking a stance against the vile Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.
Both chambers passed the anti-BDS measure last week, with the Senate voting 36-3 in favor of the measure, and the House voting in favor 99-13.
The BDS movement’s goal is to end the existence of the Jewish state; BDS proponents attempt to achieve this scurrilous goal by demonizing Israel and casting it as a pariah state. We are grateful for the Kansas Legislature’s support for fair treatment of Israel and its people.
If the bill is signed by Gov. Sam Brownback, Kansas would become the 20th state with a law against the anti-Israel, anti-Semitic BDS movement. We call on the rest of the states to pass similar legislation.
