The B’nai B’rith Omaha Breadbreakers Luncheon series continues on March 26, as they’re joined by Timothy J. Burke, vice president of Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) on the nuclear power plant: its problems and prospects.

Among all operating commercial power reactors in North America, Nebraska’s “qualifies as the smallest-rated capacity nuclear power plant.” And it’s less than 25 miles from Omaha.

Per usual, the luncheon will be held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Blumkin Home Auditorium, 323 S. 132nd St., on the JCC Campus. Kosher lunch is available for $11.
