In a first, the CEO of B’nai B’rith International has recently met with all the presidents of B’nai B’rith Israel to expand the organization’s international activities and connections with the leaders of the B’nai B’rith organization in the world.

The meeting took place in the conference hall of the Mandarin Hotel in Tel Aviv and was attended by presidencies and representatives from over a hundred Lodges of B’nai B’rith throughout the country, who were also joined by the members of the executive committee of B’nai B’rith Israel (the Grand Lodge).

The evening was opened by the president of B’nai B’rith Israel, Emanuel (Mano) Cohen, who told the members about the expansion of B’nai B’rith Israel’s international activities, the meetings that have been held to date and the efforts being made to increase and offer the organization in Israel. Ilan Shouri, the advisor to the president for international relations who organized the meeting, briefly told about the international activities of B’nai B’rith Israel that took place recently and introduced the guest. For about an hour, the global CEO of B’nai B’rith Daniel Mariaschin spoke to the presidents and presidencies of Lodge B’nai B’rith Israel. He reviewed the activities of B’nai B’rith International in the last months since the outbreak of the October 7 war and the actions taken to defend against the increase of anti-Semitism in the world. Mariaschin presented several examples of activities and meetings that have been held and also explained what the world organization is going to do soon.

In his words, Mariaschin praised the activity of Israel’s allies during the war for the soldiers in the south and the north and the residents who were forced to leave their homes. the many volunteering activities and the financial donations that were transferred to the soldiers and communities that met in the war. Mariaschin praised the new and expanded international activities now being carried out by B’nai B’rith Israel and expressed hope that the cooperation between B’nai B’rith Israel and other B’nai B’rith organizations in the world will continue to grow.
