In our first conversation of 2023, B’nai B’rith Magazine editor Gene Meyer and former BBC investigative journalist and magazine reporter Dina Gold spoke with CEO Dan Mariaschin about the Winter 2022 Issue of B’nai B’rith Magazine.

Gold’s consequential reporting for the cover story, “Stolen Silver: Nazi Plunder and the Unfinished Quest for Restitution,” has led directly to the return of several cherished silver pieces to their rightful owners more than 80 years after German Jews were forced to surrender them to the Nazis.

The conversation also covered other magazine highlights, including Jewish cuisine as the food of a people constantly fleeing persecution, and accepting and including Jews with disabilities.
