Memorandum filed on impact of such legislation on American companies and individuals

B’nai B’rith International is an American-based Jewish advocacy and social service organization with members and supporters in more than 40 countries. Founded in 1843, we advocate for human rights, promote intercultural relations, and support Jewish communities worldwide.

We are deeply concerned about the proposed Israeli Settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (Prohibition of Importation of Goods) Bill 2025 that would boycott certain goods.

So that the Committee and the Government is made aware of the enormous implications were such legislation to be passed, please find the attached memorandum dated July 7, 2025, prepared on a pro bono basis by leading American attorneys Alan Futerfas and Ellen B. Resnick, regarding the impact of such legislation on American companies and individuals.
