Trivia with the Sixth and I Synagogue has been the main event in the DC area which is held at Sixth and I every other month. The new year kicked off with a “British Invasion”, theme. Almost 100 people enjoyed the difficult questions, fake British accents, and fish and chips! 

Their next Trivia event will be on March 12, 2015, and will have the theme of March Madness. 

On Thursday, January 29th, the Young Leadership Network –DC and the Cuban Jewish Relief Project (CJRP) came together for a Happy Hour Fundraiser, to raise funds for the CJRP. Raffle prizes were auctioned off, and everyone who came enjoyed the night at the venue, Johnny Pistolas, in Adams Morgan.  Johnny has also donated 10% of the proceeds to CJRP.  

The group also heard more about the humanitarian work by B’nai B’rith via this fund and the missions that have travelled to Cuba sponsored by B’nai B’rith. A Young Leadership mission is in the works for March 2016. 

The next event after March Trivia will be a program at one of the many Embassies in D.C., in late April.
