The director of the B’nai B’rith for Latin America, Eduardo Kohn, repudiated the show given days ago by the artist Roger Waters and that is now a reason for investigation by the German police for a Nazi-style outfit that he wore at a concert in Berlin.

“Hate of the Jews has been made for hours,” Kohn wrote on his Twitter account. “Germany not only has to stop the anti-Semites, but the whole world should do it,” he added.

The Berlin police announced on Friday that they are investigating Waters for incitement to hatred.

“We are investigating suspicions of incitement to hatred, because the clothes worn on the scene are likely to exalt or justify the National Socialist regime and disturb public order,” a spokesman for the Berlin police, Martin Halweg, told AFP. “The outfit resembles that of an SS officer,” he added.

Waters will return to Uruguay on November 17, 2023 and will be produced by AM, the company that has the Centennial concession for musical shows until 2024. It will be, in fact, at the Centennial Stadium.
