B’nai B’rith President Seth J. Riklin and CEO Daniel S. Mariaschin have issued the following statement:

The pause of the controversial judicial reform plan in Israel is a welcome and real-time demonstration of democracy at work.

We call on Israeli citizens, and parties on all sides of the issue, to take this time to work together to build a consensus plan to move forward.

As always, we remain a defender of a strong and democratic Jewish homeland.
