America is aging. The number of Americans 65 and older will more than double over the next 40 years, and as the number of seniors increases every year, so will the need for affordable, aging-ready housing. That’s why Dr. Jennifer Molinsky wants to deepen our understanding of the implications of aging populations and how we as a nation can tackle some of the critical housing challenges that lie ahead. Dr. Molinsky is Project Director of the Housing an Aging Society Program at the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies. She speaks with B’nai B’rith CEO Dan Mariaschin about the importance of suitable and affordable housing for America’s older adults, the role of housing in wellbeing and health in older age, and more.
