Author Manning Rubin speaks with CEO Dan Mariaschin about his new book, “Voyage to the Wall,” a historical novel based on true events and many of Rubin’s experiences as a U.S. soldier in Europe immediately following World War II and the Holocaust.

Stationed in Germany after the victory in Europe, Sergeant Joey Goldman, like the author, is forced to confront the horrors of the Shoah. This young, naïve Jewish U.S. Army soldier from the South must all of a sudden come to terms with a new understanding of his place in the world and the Jewish community.
