(Washington, D.C., August 31, 2023)—The World Court has been asked by the United Nations General Assembly to issue yet another advisory opinion on the legality of Israeli policies alone, as it did nearly 20 years ago. B’nai B’rith has again made a comprehensive submission to the ICJ, laying out the inappropriateness of the request—and called on countries to stand up in The Hague for the world’s only Jewish state.
This webinar will explore why the move by the U.N. was biased and unjustified but also deeply unhelpful to peacemaking.

B’nai B’rith International, B’nai Brith Canada and the B’nai B’rith World Center-Jerusalem have jointly submitted a brief to the ICJ with arguments why the court should refuse to engage with the outrageous request for an advisory opinion against Israel that was referred to it by the U.N. General Assembly in December 2022.
